NoteTerrestrial on steep bank; internodes short, 3.5 cm diam.; petioles terete, sharply square-sunken, medium green, weakly glossy; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, moderately paler and weakly glossy below; midrib narrowly raised and slightly paler above, round-raised with acute marginal ribs on sides, paler below; primary lateral veins sunken and concolorous above; tertiary veins in part sunken above, raised below; inflorescence erect; spathe pale green, reflexed; spadix dark violet-purple.
