Location	Cordillera del Cóndor region. West side of upper Río Nangaritza, along road about 13 km south of Guayzimi. Silica mine "La Daniela". Dense wet forest on sloping Hollín sandstone plateau, being mined for silica sand for glass manufacture. 970 m elev.

Note	Tree 8 m tall, 15 cm DBH. Senescent leaves turn bright red before falling. Stems with reddish-brown pubescence. Calyx pale greenish-cream. Corolla pale pink with white hairs on inside of corolla lobes. Immature fruits pale green.
