Location	Cordillera del Cóndor region. West side of upper Río Nangaritza, along road about 13 km south of Guayzimi. Silica mine "La Daniela". Dense wet forest on sloping Hollín sandstone plateau, being mined for silica sand for glass manufacture. 970 m elev.

Note	Tree 15 m tall, 25 cm DBH. Common locally on sandstone plateau. Leaflets stiff, brittle and coriaceous, the two rows of leaflets forming an acute angle with respect to the rachis. Immature fruits subglobose, slightly elliptic, pale green, glossy.
