NoteTerrestrial; internodes short, 4.7 cm diam.; cataphylls reddish, weakly hook-shaped, persisting, dark brown; petioles acutely angled adaxially, rounded abaxially, 7-ribbed circumferentually, medium green, semiglossy, yellow-green; blades moderately coriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, paler and glossy below; midrib acute and slightly paler above, convex and 3-ribbed abaxially, sharply paler; primary lateral veins narrowly rounded, concolorous above, narrowly rounded and paler below; tertiary veins mostly flattened, darker below; inflorescences erect or spreading; peduncle 15-18 cm long, 9 mm diam., medium yellow-green, matte; spathe 50 cm long, 4.5 cm wide, pale green, semiglossy, weakly tinged violet-purple below; spadix sessile, 13.5 cm long, 1.2 cm diam., greenish yellow, 1.2 cm diam., matte, pistils emergent; unopened spadix pale green.
