NoteTerrestrial; internodes short, 6 cm diam.; petioles medium green and matte at base, deeply purple-maculate toward middle, solid dark purple on apical 1/2, obtusely flattened adaxially, the colored parts semiglossy; blades thin, dark green and matte and weakly glossy above, moderately paler and semiglossy below; midrib deeply sunken and concolorous above, narrowly round-riased, medium green, weakly glossy, dark purple-splotched below; primary lateral veins deeply sunken and concolorous above, round-raised, paler and matte to weakly glossy below; tertiary veins in part sunken above, raised below; inflorescences 2 per axil; peduncle medium green, weakly glossy; spathe 3 cm diam., tube dark green-purple on outer edge of tube, dark purple throughout inside; female spadix pale yellow, 1.2 cm diam. midway, 1.0 cm at apex; male sterile part 1.2 cm diam., cream; fertile male part 1.2 x 2.2 cm wide creamy.
