NoteMassive Pandan with short trunk, c. 1 m, c. 18 cm in diam. Leaves erect, up to 6 m long, 9 cm wide in the middle, 10 cm at base, long flagellum 18-20 cm on the distal part of leaves; sheath red, 15 x 26 cm; prickles on midvein reddish. Infrutescence erect on a straight peducncle 43 cm long, 3 cm wide at apex. Syncarp oblong, 10 x 15 cm. Drupes with pileus pink to yellow. Stigmas 2-forked, very sharp.
