NoteTerrestrial; internodes short, 3 cm diam; petioles purplish, terete, somewhat spongy, finely striate, sheathed to below middle; blades thin, weakly glossy on both surfaces; midrib sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and paler below; primary lateral veins weakly etched and concolorous above, bluntly acute below; inflorescence erect; spathe tube medium green and matte outside, glossy inside; spathe blade white to pale green and matte outside, semiglossy inside; female flowers pale green; male spadix white.
