NoteEpiphyte; internodes short, 3-4 cm diam.; cataphyll fibers pale brow, semi-organized; petioles medium green, weakly glossy, weakly and narrowly sulcate, 6-9 mm diam.; geniculum reddish 8-10 mm diam., 28-33 cm long, narrowly and shallowly sulcate; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, paler and semiglossy below; midrib narrowly rounded and paler above and below; primary lateral veins bluntly acute and paler above and below; tertiary veins moderately obscure; inflorescence erect; peduncle tinged reddish purplish; spathe 8.5 cm long, 2.3 cm wide, pale green, spreading, brittle, matte inside, semiglossy outside, twisted with margins underolled; spadix dark yellow-green, 9–11 cm long at anthesis, 9–15 mm diam.at, matte pale olive-green at anthesis; flowers 9–10 visble per spiral, 2.8–3.4 mm long, 3.5–3.7 mm wide; tepals smooth, 1.7–2.0 mm wide, sub-shield-shaped, the outer margins obtusely 4-sided; pollen white weakly glossy becoming 3.8 cm diam. in fruit; tepals maroon, weakly raised along margins.
