NoteTerrestrial vine on steep bank; internodes 8 mm diam.; cataphylls persisting, semi-intact at upper most nodes; petioles sharply C-shaped with obtuse medial rib, tinged reddish; blades moderately coriaceous, semiglossy, bicolorous; midrib narrowly rounded and reddish above, narrowly rounded and much paler below; primary lateral veins etched-sunken and concolorous above, bluntly angular and pleated-raised below; spathe green, reflexed; spadix dark violet-purple; berries violet.
