| Note | Small shrub (plant ca. 7-8 dm tall), some leaf sheaths persistant on branches. Fruit terminal, a syncarp hidden by numereous yellow bracts, sub-ellipsoid, 3 x 5 cm when immature. Stigma 3-forked. Pistillate inflorescence just emeging from bracts; already somewhat old. |
