NoteTerrestrial on steep bank; internodes to 5 cm long, both longitudinally ribbed and transversely fissured, light yellow-brown; petioles terete, medium green, densely pale linate-striate, weakly glossy; blade subcoriaceous, moderately bicolorous, semiglossy above, glossy below; midrib much paler, bluntly raised above, bluntly acute and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins weakly quilted and slightly paler above, narrowly raised and weakly paler below; minor veins fine; inflorescences 2-3 per axil; peduncle pale green, finely striate, semiglossy; spathe medium green on tube, finely whitish on blade outside, semiglossy throughout, whitish in blade and glossy outside, dark maroon and glossy inside tube.
