NoteTerrestrial or hemiepiphytic; internodes dark green, matte, soon grayish, 1.5 cm diam.; cataphylls deciduous; petioles terete, semiglossy, dark green; blades subcoriaceous, semiglossy to glossy, bicolorous; major veins narrowly rounded and concolorous above, narrowly raised and paler below; inflorescence erect; peduncle pale green; spathe whitish; spadix dark violet-purple, matte, 6 mm diam.
