LocationCordillera del Cóndor region. West side of upper Río Nangaritza, along road about 13 km south of Guayzimi. Silica mine "La Daniela". Dense wet forest on sloping Hollín sandstone plateau, being mined for silica sand for glass manufacture. 970 m elev.

NoteLarge tree 20 m tall, 40 cm DBH. Very common locally on sandstone pleateau. Thick, sticky white latex in trunk and stems. Leaves with golden-brown pubescence beneath. Young fruits pale green.
