Location	Cordillera del Cóndor, "Area de Conservación Los Tepuyes". Sloping sandstone plateau west of upper Río Nangaritza near the Cabañas Yankuam lodge. Dense wet forest, in and near "Nangaritza Lower Sandstone Plateau" one-hectare forest inventory plot. 1120 m elev.

Note	Large canopy tree 25 m tall, 30 cm DBH. Clear resin in trunk and twig bark; not latex. Leaves very thick and fleshy. Fruits green, globose, borne on branches. This species is locally common on the sandstone plateau.
