NoteTerrestrial on steep bank; primary lateral veins 5-6 mm diam., medium green to yellow-brown, weakly glossy; cataphylls 7.5 cm long, green, deciduous; petioles sharply sulcate, medium green, purplish red, tinged densely speckled; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, paler and matte below; midrib bluntly acute and paler, tinged red above, narrowly rounded and paler below; primary lateral veins quilted and concolorous above, narrowly raised, pleated-raised and slightly darker below; spathe medium green, spreading; spadix dark purple-violet, 8 mm diam.; pistils weakly emerged; berries red, 5 mm long, 4 mm diam.
