NoteEpiphyte at 4 m; stems to more than 1 m long, 4.2 cm diam., medium green with prominent coarse raised white streaks at the nodes, eventually brownish; cataphylls sharply 2-edged (margins raised), persisting as pale fibers with fragments of pale brown epidermis; petioles obtusely flattened adaxially with prominent striation with marked discontinuances so as to feel finely warty, medium green, weakly glossy, the margins acute near apex; blades subcoriaceous, semiglossy to glossy, moderately bicolorous; midrib sunken and slightly paler above; primary lateral veins obtusely sunken and concolorous above, narrowly rounded and conspicuous below; minor veins moderately distinct; inflorescences 3-4 per axil; peduncle 10 x 11 mm midway, pale green, coarsely pale striate, to 9 cm long' spathe pale green, matte, densely short pale-lineate; spathe blade white outside, blade creamy white, tube tinged, weakly pinkish inside; female spadix creamy white post-anthesis; spadix creamy white.
