NoteTerrestrial on steep rocky area; internodes 1-2 cm long, medium to dark green, moderately glossy, 1.5 cm diam.; petioles erect-spreading, sheathed 2/3 to nearly throughout, mostly 1.5-2.0 cm from base of blade, sheath erect-incurled, rounded at apex, free part acutely sulcate; blades moderately coriaceous, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, moderately paler and semiglossy below; midrib deeply sunken and concolorous above, narrowly raised and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins obscure on both surfaces; inflorescence cernuous, 4 mm, medium green, semiglossy; spathe brown, persisting on spadix, loosely fitting and seemingly unopened; spadix creamy white to faintly greenish, 6.2 cm long, 1.2 cm diam., narrowly rounded at apex.
