NoteEpiphyte; internodes short, 3.5 cm diam.; roots dense; cataphylls lanceolate; petioles 6-ribbed abaxially; sharply flattened adaxially with erect marginal ribs; blades subcoriaceous, semiglossy, weakly bicolorous; midrib broadly convex-flattened, raised and slightly paler above, thickly raised and several ribbed, paler below; primary lateral veins narrowly convex and concolorous above, narrowly convex and concolorous below; inflorescence erect; spathe medium green, spreading; spadix dark violet-purple, matte.
