NoteAppressed-climbing hemiepiphyte; internodes elongated, 1.2 cm diam., yellow-brown; cataphyll fibers pale; petioles terete, dark green, semiglossy; blades semiglossy, moderately bicolorous, subcoriaceous; major veins sunken and concolorous above; midrib narrowly rounded and concolorous below; primary lateral veins narrowly raised below; minor veins moderately obscure; inflorescence one per axil; peduncle medium green, semiglossy, 9 mm diam.; spathe dark green on tube, 2.7 x 3.0 cm, tinged violet-purple in lower 2/3 of tube.
