Treelet to 5 m tall, leaves c. 3 x 180 cm. Infructescence terminal, erect, bearing 6-8 sub-spherical syncarps, red when ripped, c. 6 x 7 cm; peduncle 35 cm in length. Stigma spiniform, brown.
