Remarks

In forest in shade all day. Tree, 8-10 m tall; 25 cm dbh; fruit immature, yellowish green. Synonyms: Endocomia macrocoma (Miquel) W. J. de Wilde subsp. prainii (King) W. J. de Wilde; Horsfieldia longipedunculata Hu; H. pandurifolia Hu.

Xishuangbanna Daizuzi-Zhizhou; west of Bulongshan-Xiang along the Nanmei-he (Nanmei River) on county road K15. Mixed broadleaved evergreen and deciduous forest (appears uncut) with diverse mixture of trees, many more than 30 m tall, and tree ferns; trees with many epiphytes (mostly pteridophytes) and lianas and climbing Araceae. 1120-1130 m. elev.
