Arbuste 2.5 m; base des pétioles auréolés; stipule soudé à la base, bifide; inflorescence unique, primaire; bractée blanche englobants l'inflorescence; fleur tubulaire blanche, lobe récurvé; étamines jaune; style non-visible.
