Remarks

Open, steep slope in dry clay soil at base of shrubs. A single, multistemmed clump. Leaves abaxially green; adaxially bright green, shining; sepals green; petals yellow.

Pinus armandii plantation, cleared area for fruit tree cultivation and remnant deciduous forest and intermixed thickets on slopes. Aruncus abundant in forested areas. 1770 m elev.
