Km 168 on Hwy 1, 16 km N of Estelí, Cuesta de Kukamonga, nearly dry stream bed leading down to Río Estelí; dry forest draped with epiphytes, steep stream banks cut through soft conglomerates with dense epiphytes. 800-850 m elev.
