Remarks

On open cliffs around shrubs and in crevices of rocks in clay soil. Calyx yellow, tube paler yellow, lobes adaxially and throat deep yellow.

Songpan Xian. S of the Jiuzhaigou Xian border and N of the city of Songpan on hwy 301 on E side of highway at Awong Gou. Thickets with Salix, Sibiraea, Potentilla and Rosa, remnant Abies-Picea; forest with Kingdonia on N-facing slopes; and small meadow-like areas. 3575 m elev.
