Remarks

Terrestrial; stem to ca. 1 m; internodes 3-4 cm long, 3.5 cm diam.; cataphylls marcescent; petioles terete, medium green, semiglossy; blades subcoriaceous, moderately glossy, somewhat bicolorous; major veins narrowly rounded and paler above, bluntly acute and paler below; tertiary veins in part raised below; inflorescence erect; spathe medium green outside, white inside; spadix white tinged lavender or creamy white with greenish tip.
