Xianggelila (Zhongdian) Xian: Xiao Zhongdian. Tianbao Shan, east of Xiao Zhongdian. Narrow valley with cut over Abies-Picea-Larix forest on lower slopes and scree above on both sides of valley; with meadow-like areas near stream and on slope between scree. 3680-3840 m. elev.

Notes
On rocky-stony slopes around trees and boulders and in thickets. Herbs, coarse, 1-1.8 m tall; only one flower remaining, pale creamy yellow outside, spotted inside; fruit immature, green.
