Tapichalaca Reserve, south of Podocarpus National Park, along road between Yangana and Valladolid, upper Río Chinchipe watershed. Wet montane cloud forest and disturbed roadside vegetation. 2650 m elev.

Notes
Shrub 2 m tall. Bracts glossy pink. Corolla tube pink at base, white at apex. Fruits green suffused red. The coordinates have been rounded to nearest minute and locality notes have been removed because the specimen is considered to be in a protected conservation status.

Cordillera del Cóndor, "Area de Conservación Los Tepuyes". Along banks of the Río Nangaritza, in the sandstone-walled canyon between Miazi and Shaime. Dense wet forest and sandstone rock outcrops. 890 m elev.
