Terrestrial to 2 m long, on steep bank; sepals and lateral petals green, tinged with yellow-orange; lip white, heavily tinged with violet-purple with 3 ribs medially, base of lip greenish yellow with violet-purple spots; scent pungent not sweet, hawk moth scent.
