Northwest of the city of Kangding; Zheduo Shan mountain range on road north of Kangding Airport toward Yala Xiang. Boulder fields and ledges, shrub thickets of dwarf (< 0.5 m tall) Rhododendron and meadow-like areas interspersed between thickets, boulders and rock outcrops. 4410-4420 m. elev.
