Massive Pandan with short trunk, c. 1 m, c. 18 cm in diam. Leaves erect, up to 6 m long, 9 cm wide in the middle, 10 cm at base, long flagellum 18-20 cm on the distal part of leaves; sheath red, 15 x 26 cm; prickles on midvein reddish. Infrutescence erect on a straight peducncle 43 cm long, 3 cm wide at apex. Syncarp oblong, 10 x 15 cm. Drupes with pileus pink to yellow. Stigmas 2-forked, very sharp.

Notes
Sub-acaulescent massiv Pandan with short trunk (up to 30 cm in diam.). Leaves up to 4 m long, erect, with reddish sheath; prickles on midvein near base red. Fruit a single sub-conical syncarp on a straight, erect peduncle (32 cm in length). Syncarp yellow when ripped, c. 12 x 30 cm. Nice fragrance. Stigma 2-forked.
