Notes
Very common on sandstone boulders, normally epiphitic, occasionally terrestrial. Massive Pandans with short erect trunk covered with old persistant sheaths. Leaves erect, yellow in the center of clump, to 3-4 cm long. Infrutescence erect, 80-90 cm long, bearing 9 cylindric syncarps on a robust peduncle, 60 cm in length, 4.5 cm wide at apex. Syncarp, subcylindric, 4 cm x 20-25 cm; drupes 1 cm long, 0.2 cm wide. Stigma flat, rounded, brown, 0.5 cm in diam.
