Between the cities of Yajiang and Xinduqiao off old highway 318, then S on unmarked Road (Xian road 001) originating between km markers 2913 and 2914 just W of pass (border of Kangding and Yajiang Xian) at Gaoer Shan. Moist, narrow valley along small stream and adjacent stony slopes and ledges. 4260 m.

In sandy-gravelly areas along shore of stream and in moist meadow. Calyx purplish; corolla opening only in sunshine, clear pale yellow inside, lobes dark purple streaked and spotted outside, tube clear yellow.
