Xianggelila (Zhongdian) Xian: Xiao Zhongdian. Tianbao Shan, east of Xiao Zhongdian. Narrow valley with cut over Abies-Picea-Larix forest on lower slopes and scree above on both sides of valley; with meadow-like areas near stream and on slope between scree. 3680-3840 m. elev.

Thinly wooded area above stream and on slopes in rocky soil and in open meadows in moist to wet soil. Abundant. Flowers bluish purple, base of tepals yellow with purple striations.
