Epiphyte; internodes short, 1.5-2.0 cm diam.; cataphyll fibers pale, persistint; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and matte-subvelvety above, slightly paler and matte below; midrib convex, paler and speckled above, weakly convex and paler below; primary lateral veins scarcely raised either side; infructescence pendent; berries bright red.
