Between Xiangcheng and Sandui near the village of Riyin, S of Wuming Shan. West facing slopes and seepages in mixed coniferous forest (Picea, Abies, Pinus). 3550-4000 m. elev.

Notes

Moist soil in shade of large Populus; mostly bare ground, but also mixed among grasses. Colonial; fruit green, with "velcro" hairs. Same location and site as Boufford 43247 collected 25 August 2013.
