Notes
Epiphyte at 15 m; internodes short, 6 cm diam.; cataphyll fibers persisting in netlike reticulum; petioles terete, narrowly and obtusely sulcate, medium green, weakly glossy; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and glossy above, paler and glossy below; midrib narrowly rounded and paler above near base, acute toward apex, narrowly rounded and paler below with an acute rib; primary lateral veins bluntly acute and paler above, acute and moderately paler below; tertiary veins in part weakly raised below; inflorescence spreading; spathe purplish violet, semiglossy outside, darker and glossier inside, with paler veins; spadix 3.1 cm diam., matte, dark violet-purple, stipitate 1 cm long.
