Tree, 25–30 m tall, to 60 cm dbh; leaflets (3–)5–7(–8) pairs, blades concolorous, medium to dark green on both surfaces, Inflorescence pseudoterminal, glabrous except the pedicels that are tomentose. Flowers, ca. 1 cm long, in glomerules of 2–4 flowers, Stamens 7–8, densely pubescent at apex. Type specimen: Phytotaxa 88(2): 20. 2013. (Phytotaxa) (MO/BC:MO-2720895/A:6618981).
