Shakh-i Pira Magrun, NW-SE trending anticline exposing mosly dolomitic limestone. Randu Gaura. Upslope from Merga Pan, then 1.3-1.8 km SW into a narrow canyon with persisting snowbank. 1356-1445 m elev.

Southwest slope, with talus of large and small boulder. Diffuse woodland of coppiced oaks. Prostrate in full sun. Rhachis spiny. Vouchered with an earlier collection.
