Epiphyte at 4 m; internodes short 3.5-4.5 cm diam.; cataphylls unribbed, pale green, deciduous; petioles terete medium green, dark green short-lineate, spongy; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and semiglossy above, moderately paler and matte below; midrib flattened and paler above, narrowly rounded and paler below; primary lateral veins obtusely sunken and concolorous above, narrowly convex and paler below; minor veins visible; inflorescences 2 per axil; peduncle medium green, abruptly delimited from spathe; spathe medium green and semiglossy outside, white and glossy inside, maroon in tube; female spadix creamy white.
