Terrestrial on steep bank; internodes much longer than broad, gray and weakly glossy; petioles terete and weakly glossy, finely ribbed, broadly sulcate toward base, dark green; blades subcoriaceous, moderately glossy and moderately bicolorous; midrib broadly sunken and pale above, narrowly rounded and slightly paler below; primary lateral veins obtusely sunken and concolorous above, narrowly rounded and paler below; inflorescences 5-6 per axil; peduncle pale green; spathe medium green on tube, pale orange on blade outside (eventually red-orange throughout), pale green inside, whitish on blade inside; female spadix pale green.
