Less than 1 m tall; leaves maroon in distil 1/3 below; corolla pale yellow, the lobes paler, fringed with pale purple-red and with 2 heavy lines on base of lip.

Epiphytic herb. Stems erect. Leaf blades with irregular dark red patch at apex. Calyx and corolla bright lemon-yellow. Corolla with red patch on lower lip.
