Location Remarks
Baoxing Xian. N of the city of Baoxing on the Baoxing-Xiaojin Road (state road G210); Xinzhazi Gou (known locally as Mahuang Gou) just N of Jiajin Shan National Forest Park. Clearings and small remnant forest of Populus and Salix, but with planted trees of Pinus, Larix and Picea, in flat areas along rocky stream bed. Entire area severely grazed by animals, mostly goats, and extensively rutted by pigs. 2415-2500 m elev.
