Waisali Rainforest Reserve c. 30 km north of Hibiscus Highway in Savusavu on Cross Island Road; then southwest and downhill on a abandoned former logging road, now eroding. Much disturbance but an interesting understory persists. 420-460 m elev.

Slender shrub, 2.5 m tall, growing in dense forest and at edge of logging road. Young fruits green.
