Acaulescent shrub, somehow cespitose, 0.5 m tall. Leaves 1.5 cm x 2 m, flagellate. Infructescence erect, bearing 3-4 sub-ellipsoïd syncarps, the distal one 4 x 6 cm; peduncle 25 cm in length. Stigma spiniform.
